Our Origin

We've dreamt of having our own yerba mate store and eventually cafe and yerbale (yerba mate plant since the moment we first sipped mate in 2016. after kilos of mate, great conversations passing the gourd, deep study and work sessions with a gourd by our side, we've finally launched 10 years later. We're no experts, but we hope you will learn something as we embark on our journey to become expert materos, open mate lounges, and some day start our own yerbale. We believe we can make the world a better place through connecting over yerba mate, and make the drink more sustainable along the way.

Good Omen

It was mid October, 2024. A black cat showed up at our door. We took him in. Named him Omen. Later in early 2025, having just got a new yerba mate plant, he knocked it over and the it hit me, Good Omen would be the name. There are many Good Omens in life, but we believe that any omen can be turned to good. That is the power of humanity.  

Infuse Humanity

In an increasingly technological world, we feel we need to get back to being human. Connecting more deeply with ourselves, nature, the universe, and others. As we do this we can infuse our unique flavors and qualities one with another.
